Hello Engine

Hello Mario Engine is an opensource Mario level editor for Game Maker: Studio and, formerly, Gamer Maker v6.0/v7.0/v8.x. In development by Hello since 2006, this engine is used by advanced users who know good programming language and who wants to make high-quality Super Mario fangames. Some examples include Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and Super Mario Fusion: Revival.

New Super Fusion Bros.

In 2012 and 2013, I used this engine (Hello Engine 5.1, to be precise) with Game Maker 8.1 to work on a custom fangame that would’ve mirrored MKF and SMF:R at the times: New Super Fusion Bros.

This game should’ve mix various styles of Mario games, from SMB3 to NSMB, much like MKF. Various themes included a Windows 98 world and a Retro-styled world. Not all worlds had official themes, so this fangame wasn’t going very well.

Finally, too low interests on it came at the end of 2013, plus engine damage put the game to a sad end.
